That law passed in California a couple years ago. People still use their cell phones in the car with the speaker on or using a bluetooth. I don’t really see the point….

not only in the mentioned country, cell phones are banned in almost all countries. In my country if the traffic squad found anyone using cell phones while driving, they will charge an amount of 50$ for the driver.
